Learn MoreHuman Peripheral Blood Mononuclear Cells (PBMCs) are an indispensable resource in biomedical research, extensively utilized in oncology, immunology, and cell therapy.
Boca Bio provides a wide variety of normal healthy and diseased PBMCs that are meticulously isolated, cryopreserved, and rigorously tested, ensuring the highest standards of quality, cell viability, and reliability to meet your unique research needs.
Boca Bio has the capabilities to expertly source high-quality clinically collected whole blood and process into PBMCs within hours of collection for same day processing. Our PBMC inventory is carefully curated to maximize pre-freeze cell viability ≥95% to save you time and ensure you have the cells you need to power your breakthroughs.
We maintain high ethical and regulatory standards to ensure the proper approvals are in place with our collection sites so you can get the viable cells you need as quickly as possible.
Choose the collection method, characterization, and timing that best suits your study design and we’ll deliver the PBMCs on time with the data that matters:
Extensive Clinical Data
Risk History
Pre-existing Medical Conditions
Detailed Pathology Information
Treatment Outcomes
Vaccination History
Concomitant Medications
Biomarker results
Genetic profiles
These viable cell populations comprising various frequencies of lymphocytes (T cells, B cells, and NK cells), dendritic cells, and monocytes have infinite applications in early biomarkers discovery and translational studies.
At Boca Biolistics, we understand that reproducibility is the bedrock of scientific advancement. That's why we are committed to delivering PBMC biospecimens that exhibit exceptional batch-to-batch consistency.
For quality you can count on Boca Bio PBMCs feature:
Cell Count(s): 5M to 10M cells per aliquot
Cell Viability: ≥95% pre-freeze cell viability determined by AOPI staining
Anticoagulant: sodium heparin anticoagulant (EDTA available upon request)
Storage: Stored in liquid nitrogen immediately after processing; cryoshipped on dry ice to your lab.
Our unwavering dedication to maintaining meticulous documentation and traceability ensures the highest level of quality and integrity in every PBMC biospecimen we deliver.

Yes! Our collection site network spans 5 continents and 60 countries, enabling us to source even the most rare or specific tissues from around the world.
Our team can collect almost any human biospecimen from our global prospective site network. We collect a variety of specimens that can be obtained to your exact research specifications with inclusion and exclusion criteria designed in partnership with Boca Bio to meet your unique research needs.
We can also get you access to remnant samples. The data from these samples is limited to test results, the assays and instruments used, and basic donor demographics. Explore our biospecimens, and if you don’t see what you need, please contact one of our many experts — we are ready to help.
Boca Bio’s team are experts at logistics. Whether it's international or domestic, we have years of experience handling biospecimens for our core biospecimens business and you can benefit from our expertise. We handle all of the import/export, paperwork and customs to deliver high-quality annotated samples directly to your location, so you don't have to worry.
BocaBio ensures that all PBMC samples are processed, isolated, cryopreserved, and tested to meet the highest standards of quality and reliability. Our rigorous quality control processes guarantee that cell count, purity, and viability are monitored to deliver a yield of approximately 0.5 to 3 x 106 cells/mL of whole blood. After isolation PBMCs are immediately stored in -145oC liquid nitrogen tanks until shipment to your lab. This ensures that you receive consistent, high-quality PBMCs samples for your research needs.
